does anyone know anything about silicone bakeware?

I've heard about not using plastic in our microwaves anymore.  But what about using the new silicone baking products out there?

    I don't know for sure but have read that all plastic (and the softer it is the more this applies) have a toxin which is fat soluble and in conjunction with heat can cross over into the food.  I would avoid it.
