TAXOL RASH! HELP!

I know there is another post about a rash but I am not sure what sort of chemo she is on. I am specifically on Taxol - my first treatment after 4 AC treatments - and my first week I had lots of aches and pains and my second week I gradually got a rash. Today it took over my entire body and it itches like crazy. My doc is talking about about switching me to Taxotere? Did this happen to anyone else? Did you switch? Was it better? Or did your doc just give additional meds? Which ones?? Did anything make it go away???? I got Benedryl and steroids in my port just before the treatment but that was it. I took some benedryl today to help with itching. I really look pathetic. Bald, bloated and covered in a rash - even on my fingertips. I am not very happy right now.

So sorry for your discomfort. I am right there with you. Looking for advice myself. Sorry to report Taxotere, same thing. All over my face and arms. My doc says she is going to taper my dex next time to try and minimize.  I am trying topical cortisone-Luxiq Foam, 0.12%, it's a medium strength topical. After what you've already been through, you need something. We aren't very happy are we? You deserve to be comfortable. Chamomile sounds good too! Hugs-

I AM TAKING CYTOXAN AND TAXOTERE. YESTERDAY MY HEAD STARTED ITCHING.AND I LOOKED IT WAS BROKE OUT.  WILL HAVE MY 3RD CYCLE OF CHEMO NEXT WEEK. ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS AND WHAT I CAN DO FOR THE RASH AND ITCHING ON MY HEAD

WILL THIS EFFECT MY TREATMENT NEXT WEEK
