Is this normal????

Hi,

I had lumpectomy Aug5 then resection and SNB on Sep 30. About 3 weeks after first surgery the bottom of my breast turnes red was warm to touch and sore. My breast surgeon said I had a skin infection.  My original incision was at 1 o'clock not near the bottom were redness is..  So he put me on a Augemton.  IN the mean time tested Pem Mri preparing for 2nd surgery.  ! week before surgery saw Breast surgeon the breast was less red and warm but still there. Said it was clearing up and okay for surgery Sept 30.  Well the same thing has happened again red warm sore so now he has me on cypro for 10 days I go see him next week and my pills are almost gone and it is still red warm and sore. Has anyone had this happen?  I am of course worried about IBS which he said probably not.  Probably?   I never had this till after my first surgery.  I had a palpable lump thats sent be to the doctor, not a red sore breast.  PLease anybody ever had this.  Is this normal?  What could it be?  Also very swollen

I haven't had this happen,  hopefully you can get checked out again by the dr. because something must be wrong.  Please let us know how you are doing and what the dr. says. Best wishes for you. sherry
