I've been adding few new supplements to my diet but it is over whelming seraching for quality?  I prefer capsules as easier to swallow and digest.

Currently using NOW for curcumin and D3,CoQ10, Twin Lab for Bcomplex and Calcium supplement, Vit C.

I would like to add Green Tea extract, Milk thistle.  I use a Nordic brand for Omega 3.

cp- I take the same calcium supplement that you do. The caps are usually okay but occasionally stick going down. Lately I've been taking them with warm water to facilitate melting. Like you I like easier to swallow pills and caps. I found a multivitamin that I'm really happy with- New Chapter Organics "Tiny Tabs" multi- "The multivitamin that everyone can swallow." You take 6 of them a day- they're really little. The big selling point for me is that they are organic and low dose-below RDA on many nutrients. I don't want to be taking mega doses- especially of Vitamin E or Iron, etc.

For Omega 3 I like Barlean's fish oil. It has a nice flavor- citrus and rosemary- not at all fishy.

I've thought of adding a green tea extract in case I don't drink enough of it, which lately I haven't. I do try to drink at least 2 cups of strong sencha a day- I make it with loose leaf tea I buy in bulk (Frontier Herbs) from our neighborhood food buyers club. For milk thistle I use our health food store's store brand. It comes in v-caps and has dandelion and artichole extracts too.

I've been using ProCaps - ProCapsLabs.com - because I like their quality control (they market through HSN, not that I'm a huge home shopper, but they are pretty rigid about not misrepresenting merchandise), their products are made in the US, and their fish oil is flavored with mint.

I really like their calcium because it is ground, then put in a gel cap, so you can get all the calcium. Saw a significant rise in blood calcium when I stopped taking rocks, and my stomach seems to handle it better this way.

I have also heard good things (through consumer reports) about Costco's Kirkland brand supplements - evidently they are what they say they are.

Some of the worst, according to this report, were some of the biggies, like One-A-Day -- several didn't match what they said they had.

    OmegaBrite for Omega-3...available only via mail-order.  http://www.omegabrite.com/

NAYY...but recommended by my drs.  It's more highly concentrated, and has a better ratio of EPA to DHA.  There is a good "explanation" of Omega-3s on the site: http://www.omegabrite.com/why/explained.html

as well as links to a number of research studies.  Check out the "misc", for some cancer-related studies: http://www.omegabrite.com/why/misc.html

    HTH someone!

Vitamin Shoppe was the only company whose supplements actually contained exactly what they said they did when analyzed several years ago, so I stick with them for most things, and go with Jarrow for a few specialty items, because I know him (the owner) personally and trust his commitment to quality.
