Firstly, pardon my ignorance if you see any mistakes in my post. I'm not used to forum boards such as this one! :) Secondly, I am brand new here, and I wanted to share these videos with all of you. You guys are so inspiring me, and keep reminding me that Hope is strong. I know quite a few individuals who have/had breast cancer. The one who has BC was recently diagnosed and is currently undergoing treatment. She has 3 children, and is in her late 30's.Please keep her in your prayers.

On october 11th, in Providence (Rhode Island) I went to, I believe the 3rd annual, Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Research Foundation "Flames of Hope"at the Waterfire Event. Big Title... big event. Thousands of people were there on the Statehouse Lawn to watch the ceremony, and then proceeded to the Waterfire Basin at Waterplace park. (I bet you have no idea what Waterfire is; it's a series of sculptures in the Providence River that are essentially large metal baskets that hold wood. On Weekends, the city lights them and it illuminates the river. People can go on Gondola rides, go to restaurants, or whatever. It's relaxing, and beautiful! Unique to RI! :) ) Well.. last night was the last lighting of the year, and one to remember. I taped most of the event. I tried to fit it all on one video... but it wouldn't do the event justice.. so i had to show it in its entirety. Sit down when you get a chance... grab some tissue (or a whole box.. you'll need it).. and take it all in. Sorry if you hear me crying behind the camera. I tried to edit most of that out. Enjoy. :)

PS: Sorry if the camera is shaky (especially in the first vid). The crowd was enormous, and I had to hoist my arm up above everyone, so i couldn't see what I was shooting.... plus everyone kept knocking into me. LOL.
