Hi Everyone,

I thought you might be interested in a new book from NYU Press, After the Cure, which deals with the medical and psychological problems faced by survivors of breast cancer.  Check out the book's blog here, with excerpts & places for you to submit your stories:

Or check out the book on Amazon:

"An in-depth exploration of the symptoms experienced by some women after breast cancer treatment, giving voice to a neglected aspect of the breast cancer experience. . . . This book calls important attention to the plight of these women.”

I thought advertising was not permitted by the Board!  Also, I wonder about the use of the word "cure" in the title.  I wish BC had a cure, but I believe it does not.

In the time I've been on this site this is the first post I've reported.  For me, this is even worse than the "pink" campaign.   I believe JoeNYC is the publisher, NYU Press.  I wrote them about this at information@nyupress.org.
