is it ok to ask dr. for copies of the treatment plan not very good at remembering things.tommorrow will be my first day to go and talk about treatments.

Fine to ask. Better to take someone with you who takes the notes. Also fine to take a voice recorder so long as the doctor is okay with you doing that.

It's perfectly normal to not remember what they say. It seems during those early meetings, I would always hear something that my brain would seize upon and the rest of the doc's words sounded like Charlie Brown's teacher.
