My best friend has just been diagnosed with breast cancer and due to issues beyond her control, has no insurance. does anyone know of any resources in Georgia that she can contact for help. She has applied for medicaid/medicare? but it can take up to 45 days to start. I think that is way too long to wait for treatment. Any suggestions?
