Massage at the spa?

Hi, I just joined. My cousin and very dear friend was just dx with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma stage 2. She's having her lumpectomy tomorrow and starting Chemo on Oct. 2. I've made an appointment for the both of us at a local spa for saturday. The massage therapist there said it wouldn't be a problem, but I asked my cousin to double check with the dr. Will it be a problem for her to have a massage 5 days after a lumpectomy? TIA!
