I am grateful

I am grateful for a wonderful afternoon playing with my son at Chuck E. Cheese. I am grateful for the energy to keep up. I wouldn't have been able to not long ago.
-
I am grateful for every day that I am alive. To be here, in existence, is a miracle beyond comprehension.
I am grateful for every worker that has brought their contribution into my life. For the trucker who traveled across the highways to supply my grocery store with food. For the workers in the field who picked my fruit. For the builders who put a roof over my head. For the doctors, nurses, and medical staff who have saved my life with their care and expertise. For the teachers, aides, and therapists who have worked with my son.
For living in a country where we take clean water for granted, while many countries in the world do not have that luxury. For every good thing that God has provided.

I am grateful for Holy Thursday service at Villanova church that always uplifts me, warms me, and just leaves me incredibly mellow. Many extended family (cousins, etc.) attend and it's the only time I see them and I am grateful for that opportunity as well.

Hugs to you ladies tonight.
People have been calling me all week complaining about the weather, politics, the economy, their lives. (I thought they had it backwards. Hey! I'm the one who is sick here.)
When I saw your thread pop up it occurred to me that I am grateful that I am alive and not on the complaining end of the phone tonight.
Thanks for the reminder.

I'm grateful to BreastCancer.org for giving us the opportunity to share. Since this is a rather new thread for me, I didn't get to share with you all last year when I was honored to take part in the BCO video which is now being noted at the top right of each discussion board screen. I have by far the smallest part, but just about midway through you'll see me
-
