Taxol/ Herceptine weekly - temperature

Hello Ladies,

Anyone on taxol with herceptin weekly? I started this program on September 10th after 4 rounds of AC. I expected that it will be much easier then the previous treatment, but my body generates a high fever during the 2 days out of 7 day cycle. It has been occurring during the past two cycles. Has anyone experience similar side effects?

I just began weekly Taxol w/ herceptin on Sept 8th and had my third treatment yesterday.  Are you getting any injections to keep your white blood cells up?  I'm having Leukine shots two days per week and one of the side effects is that it can cause a fever.  The nurses just said to take Tylenol before the shot and around the clock if needed. 

I haven't had my shots yet this week though and I noticed I am just a little flushed today, but don't feel feverish.  I haven't checked my temperature though.  How high is your temp?

HI, I just finished this tuesday 12 weekly of taxo/herceptin, and I never had this problem, my counts were always up and I did not get any shots, I never experience any fever, except for one time I had a low grade fever and tylenol took care of it.
