FloridaLady
Please see my post below to March907. I see you are responding to her posts trying to educate her about the triple negative, that is very kind of you. I am really having a problem with some of her posts, I think they will really affect the new people coming to this board to find some hope. She has no right to say some of us are going to DIE soon, that is out of line. I know as an almost 5 year survivor of triple negative breast cancer, will be in Dec 08, that I certainly don't want to hear that. I know how vulnerable I was when I was first diagnosed, so desperate to find some positive in a very scary situation, and this board gave me hope. Her posts would have scared me to death. I don't know if there is anything we can do about this, maybe the moderators will step in. I don't post much on these boards, but I had to chime in on this one!! I hope NoSurrender sees theses posts.
Hugs
Patty

Dear Patty Poo
I do not like having an angry thread in my name, and I am sure Florida Lady doesn't like it either. I think you need to look at the stats. Triple Negative does not have a great survival rate. However, once you reach the 5 year mark, like yourself, your stats actually go up. Good for you!
If one woman sees my other posts, and sees that she has a rash and goes to her onc, surgeon or MD and demands a biopsy of her skin, then my rants will not have been in vain. My cancer bible has been Dr Susan Love's book, and she does not mention skin mets as a frequent site of metastasis. Yet, especially for triple negatives...it is.
Yes, I am/was upset that 3 doctors failed to recognize skin mets. But I expected compassion here, not anger from my triple negative sisters.

patty poo,
I'm here... see my post on your other thread. I found this very disturbing also. Our new girls please do not let one upset lady move you off your course in your cancer journey. I'm so proud of you all. There are so many new ladies, and they have read that TN is a treatable disease, we have proof on this site Please if you need to talk or just vent we understand. You don't have to be up all the time...we just want to be there for you. Saying a special prayers to you ladies this weekend, that you all are well emotionally and physicaly.

Dear Florida Lady,
You have been through so much and yet you are still here for us. Bravo. You are role model. Thank you.
Yet, I am confused by your last posting. Are you saying we can talk and vent? Or everybody but me can talk and vent. "One upset lady"???? Am I not allowed to be upset on this site? Or is it only for happy happy ladies with triple negative cancer? :-) Yes it is a treatable disease, but not everyone survives. You know that many of the founders of this site have passed on. Are we not allowed to express our fears? Please clarify. Thank you. March.

There venting and there is prodicting death for the rest of us. Big difference!

I am new to the TN info. I know we're special but I always believe there is hope. I also respect and appreciate everyone's data and opinions.
I don't think March means to offend us, just bring awareness.
Let's not fight sisters, let's move forward.
