Could it be?

I have not noticed that my head looks any different, but a few days ago my "hair" started hurting a little when I touched my head. Mind you, this is nothing but peach fuzz. I shaved my head back in July after it started falling out. I am feeling it and it feels like it is a little longer than just plain ol' peach fuzz.  I had a place at the back of my skull that felt completely bald and now feels like there is some hair there. My hair was extremely dark before. I don't notice a 5 o'clock shadow or anything, but it definitely feels different. I have been done with the AC for about 7 weeks and doing Taxol/Herceptin for 5.

Sounds like hair to me!  Mine started growing back while I was on taxol too.

Yes, it could!  I did AC 4 X every 3 weeks, then Taxol & Herceptin.  My last taxol wasn't til the end of May 07, but toward the end of that April, I thought something was looking different.  Instead of seeing a 'sick woman' in the mirror, I was seeing someone who looked a little "powerful"?!?!  Kind of Susan Powder.  It was mid-May when I next saw the onc. and pulled off my wig and asked if it meant something was 'wrong' that it appeared my hair was coming back.  She smiled and said, "Congratulations.  Sometimes that happens."  I ditched the wig Memorial Day weekend and came into work the following week "as is."  Everyone at work thought I looked great with my Annie Lennox hairdo.  Week after that, I hosted my daughter's HS grad party and saw family I hadn't seen since Christmas.  Some were a little shocked (it was very short) but all agreed it really looked good.  I even had 'strangers' (clerks at stores, etc.) compliment me on my great haircut.  So in the words of my onc., CONGRATS!
