Thanks ladies!  Wow...I didn't expect this!

I had a great birthday, in spite of the DAY......My husband gave me some money for much needed work clothes (I bought some really pretty long-sleeved blouses at Kohl's), we had dinner at my favorite place, with friends, and my friend gave me a full body massage (not her, Jessica, the massage therapist!)....Got flowers from my favorite Aunt, and gifts still to come from my various friends and relatives (kids, etc.)......My favorite things were the four wonderful pictures my daghter's four little boys (Michael, Alex, Daniel and baby Andrew) gave me..."to keep forever and ever"....I'm ptting them up here in my quilting/relaxing space...

 And....It's wonderful to have  you guys to share the day with.....You guys mean the world to me, because you are the only ones I can tell how I really feel about having bc....No one else understands the way YOU do, and I appreciate your love, compassion and support.

I'm still having trouble grasping the fact that I am now sixty-five....I'm not sure just what that means...if it means anything.....I feel incredibly fortunate to have the life I do.....I have a great family, a job I love, a great husband (over forty years now!), a caring church community, etc.,And I have YOU.  Sorry we had to meet the way we did, but I'm so glad you are in my life.

So....Time to go for a walk...I've been lazy about that lately, and I've got to get back into gear.  I've gained weight over the past four months (having bc will do that), and need to get back into shape.
