Stage IV mets to liver and bone...nutrition

Options

Hello,

I was just wondering if there are any other stage iv patients out there using nutritional therapies alongside chemo.

I am the caregiver for my mother who has  stage iv with mets to liver and bone and we are using a great deal of nutritional therapies.

I was wondering if anyone out there has any recommendations for liver healing foods?

I would also love to connect with other stage iv patients integrating nutrition into their care plan.

Thanks!

I take milk thistle 2x/day which supports your liver. I asked my doctor and he said it was ok to take. I am also stage IV. I see a certified nutrionist (she specializes in breast cancer patients) who has prescribed a series of vitamins and supplements which have made a world of difference in how I can survive chemo.

yes, I'm using graviola from Amazon Herb company.  Google it.  Amazon John married to Olivia Newton John who met when she was being treated for cancer.  I have bone mets so far stable on Femara and Zometa.  Also I plan to order a product from Fungi Perfecti (google it) which contains medicianal mushrooms, many of which have anti tumor qualities.  That company is on the West Coast of the US and the owner is well known for his expertise in medicinal mushrooms.
