Wasn't sure where to post this but I thought some of you might be interested. I asked about the "In Treatment" t-shirts:Thank you for your inquiry regarding StandUp2Cancer t-shirts.
3 of the 5 shirts that were worn on the show are currently available via our online store at:
The other 2 will be available at a later date.
Please check back soon if you don't see the shirt you want!

Thank you!....here is an immediate link

Great! I just ordered the lemon yellow one that says "Survivor" because that's what I intend to become.
Hugs,
Annie
-
I can't decide if I want "Survivor" or just the Stand up to Cancer one.
-
Am I missing something? When I go to that link there are no T-shirts for sale, only hats, stickers and buttons. I really would like one of the T-shirts.

Right now I see t-shirts, hats, buttons and stickers. On the left side there are categories to click on as well. Maybe there was a temporary glitch when you looked at it?
-
Now, all they are showing on the page are black T-shirts (men's or women's). Annie, did you buy all the yellow ones? Didn't they even think to make PINK??? (heh heh)

Yep, black only! Kind of a depressing color
Guess I'll pass.
Isn't $30 a little high for T-shirt? IS some of that going to a donation for something?

Click on this link ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and this will show you the other t-shirt styles and colors including pink - and the prices vary as well...
-
That second link has shirts that say "stand up 2 cancer" but they don't bear the same logo as the ones on the stand up 2 cancer website. At cafepress, anyone can upload a digital image and open a store--cafepress does the printing and shipping. Looks sort of like someone is cashing in on the name.
The OFFICIAL link to the standup2cancer cafepress store is: http://www.cafepress.com/su2c (link found on the standup2cancer.org website)
-
I looked at both the links, they seem to be different, Diane I saw that you typed OFFICIAL. With that being said are there others trying to make a buck without any of the monies going to stand up 2 cancer? I personally would not want to buy a shirt from a company that wasn't donating to the cause. Thank you Diane for bringing this to our attention. Heather
-
Yeah I noticed that too -- that it wasn't the actual -- OFFICIAL LOGO as displayed on the StandUpToCancer show. I, too would prefer the actual StandUpToCancer tshirt that says SURVIVOR....
Thanks for the alert badboob67

Sounds like everyone here is interested in the 'stand up to cancer' t-shirts, but did you do a search on that website for breast cancer shirts. They have a really big selection.
-
I will wait for better colors. I don't like the depressing black color.
-
Spar2, I'm with you! I looked at this site yesterday and didn't like the black shirt at all
! And, I would like one that says Survivor, as well. Maybe the official site will get these in. Until then, I'll wait. But, the show was good, wasn't it?

TexasMom

Hmm wonder if it will show up here --- if not its on page 16 -- its a comical sexy girl holding up over her head ( like lifting 'weights ' ) the PINK RIBBON ......... and little pick ribbons all around the Girl,,,,,,,,,, with CANCER SURVIVOR listed below her
Hard to beleive it will be 2 yrs since I have been Dx'd .... 11/2006.

-
Ha! Cute:)!
-
There's more of the "official" shirts available now, but still no "In Treatment" one.
-
Thanks, DFOnt. I went back and wound up purchasing two for me and one for my husband! Glad to have more choices.
-
I saw this post and thought I would post... this site has the official shirts too but also has coupons in the right sidebar for $5, $15, $20, $25,or $40 off depending on how much you spend.

I figure it will be an additional way to support her in addition to continiously buying the cookies she is selling to raise money for a 3 day walk

I just received my Su2c "survivor" t-shirt and I'm very disappointed.
I ordered a adult size XL and it looks like a small, maybe size 8 or 10, to me. No way I can wear it.
-
The In Treatment shirt will only be true/wearable for a few months.
Hopefully, the Survivor one will be good for a long long time.
You are a Survivor from the moment you are diagnosed.
-
I got my shirts Thursday and I just love them! They fit great and are really soft. My husband has one too. I think we will wear them a lot.
-
Hi,
I received mine with some delay because they apparently had a HUGE order right after the TV show. It's lovely, a soft yellow color, and very soft and nice to wear. Yes, thirty bucks is high for a T-shirt, but doesn't part of that go to cancer research? That was my impression.
I'd also like to point out that Brighton makes the cutest cancer survivor bracelets -- my BS and oncologist gave me one as a gift after I participated in their roundtable discussion on clinical trials. For every bracelet sold, Brighton donates $10.00 to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Here's a link:

Hugs to all,
Annie
PS to Brenda -- they have really wonderful customer service. Send them an email and tell them the shirt is too small. My bet is that they'll ship you a larger one free of charge! Trust me -- try it.
