Well, I got my blood work to see if I was ok for treatment today. My red blood cell count is down (below 10) and my white blood cell count was down as well. Also, my liver enzymes were a little elevated and my blood pressure was a little higher. Still, they let me have a treatment today. Concerns me a little. Also, I guess there is a new policy about Aranesp, the red blood cell shot. They are not allowed to give it to breast cancer patients. So, I left still anemic with a lower white blood cell count. I PRAY this still will be a good week and that I will energy!

Can you to a multivitamen every day and maybe an iron tablet?  Surely they would not have done the treatment if it was TOO low.  I will say a prayer for you also.  God bless.  Sherry

I do take a multi every day, but it does not have iron in it. I didn't ask about an iron tablet. I know you are right that they would not have done the treatment had it been a real risk. I was tired before, and if this treatment knocks me down even further since they are not doing anything to counteract either count, it makes me concerned that I will be crawling through the week.
