    Is the world's weather getting worse?  Good grief, two bad hurricanes in 3 years.  It is truly awesome that people are way more prepared this time though.

    Thank God the hurricane lost some steam before hitting land!  Read an article today with author guessing that the population will decrease again because no one wants to be scared from their home every few years.  I absolutely loved my time in NOLA but could certainly understand wanting to pick up and move my roots to somewhere less turbulent when it comes to hurricanes.  I suspect people in the wildfire areas, tornado alley and flood prone places could feel the same way.  Think it's like Dorothy in the "Wizard of Oz"  "There's no place like home"
