I have been looking for this place, meet girls like me who are/were sick and want to know more about food and cancer.  I first want to say that I am impressed about all the info I found here on the threads. I thought I knew a lot... I am discovering that I still need to read!  Thanks !

By the way, I read about the importance of vitamin D in breast cancer. I also read that calcium intakes (and absorbtion, of course) can reduce breast density (which is a risk factor). Look what I found:

Here are things that lower calcium absorption by the body: sodium, proteins, alcohol. Isn't it quite a coincidence that these things increase cancer risk ?

And what helps for calcium absorption?  omega 3, omega 6, and vitamin D: all things that reduce cancer risk.   Well, well, seems that I am going to focus on calcium...
