    Dear Heavenly Father,

    Your Holy Bible has many scriptures of healing throughout it, and we as believers claim the promises, for they are Your words for us, the children of God. We believe in the supernatural power of the Holy Scriptures, for they are as You claim in John 1:1-3. You are the Word, infallible and trustworthy. With Your words, You spoke existence into being. You SAID, "Let there be light." And so there was.

    Please speak healing into us, breathe Your breath of life into our tired bodies, that which You created, and may You speak restoration unto our sick bodies and cells.

    Please heal our wounds, both spiritual and physical, and let us not look back. You instructed the Hebrews being led out of Egypt, and freed from captivity, scolding them for remembering better foods as slaves in Egypt, while Your heavenly sustaining food was sparse yet temporary. They were being led to the promised Land of milk and honey. Your angel warned Lot's wife not to look back upon the destruction of Sodom. She disobeyed, and was turned into a pillar of salt. Sulphuric brimstone had fallen from the skies.

    May we meditate on your Holy scripture of Philippians 3:13, and the importance of not looking back. Each day is an entirely new creation, unwritten, full of possibilities.

    May we learn to embrace the new day without the burden of reliving or dwelling upon our past.
