Aunt's Breast cancer returns

Hi everyone,

This is my first time on thissite. My aunt (my mother's twin sister) has received the news` that her cancer has come back after 7 years and it is in her sternum and spine. She is in stage 4. I am very curious and want to know if anyone out there is familiar with this? My mother is a breast cancer survivor and she has had a double masectomy 5 years ago. I have concerns about my aunt who only had the lumpectomy 7 years ago. What I have read so far all the chemo and radiation will do is relieve her pain? Any help on this would be great.
