My mom was diagnosed

I'm a 13 year old girl, and my mom was diagnosed with cancer about three weeks ago.  No risk factors except weight: no family history, not a drinker/smoker, etc.  Took our whole family by surprise.  They didn't know what stage it was for a long time, but today they finally told her it's Stage 2.  She's going to get chemo for six months: before that she's going to get tested to see the chances of her cancer returning, and if the chance is high, she'll have her breats completely removed.  The tumor is about 4 centimeters, but she tells me that we all should be very relieved.  I am trying to be relieved that it's almost totally curable, but I'm still very worried.

    Zombirific,

Talk with your mom or someone in your family about how you feel. I am impressed that you are doing some research obviously, but sometimes that can be even more frightening because the Internet tells you everything although it is not alwasy accurate. It is a long road that your Mom and your family are on, but know that it is one that you can get through.

Best wishes to you and your family. (((HUGS)))
