Cisplatin Side Effect Help

My sister, a 17 year lymphoma survivor, is now being treated for oral cancer. She has had surgery and is now being treated with radiation and weekly cisplatin/erbitox. As of today, she has had 10 days of radiation and two of seven chemo infusions. Both weeks, she has had terrible nausea. Food smells make her gag. She has a metallic taste in her mouth and generally feels lousy.

I made her a ton of homemade simple foods, and nothing appeals to her.

Currently she has zofran during the infusion, and dissolving zofran tablets for managing the nausea at home. This isn't working well enough. What other options are there for helping her while on these chemos? All suggestions of food [I am willing to cook her anything] and/or meds that could help her would be most appreciated.
