I haven't been been a partner of a surivor, so I can only speak for myself. I wasn't grossed out by anything I had to do to my body, but I can't would be if it was someone else. I suppose if i was totally in love with someone, I might not be grossed out, but incredibly sad she was going through it. I think it's easier to have had cancer myself and would have been so much harder if it was someone I loved, whether romantically or platonically.

Hey ladies...Rayne, so glad to see you post and to know things are going well. I'm with Amy, it is so much easier for me to do than to have done for me...nothing does gross you out after all this so you are fine with the details. I think we all drop the niceties once you get into this, there's just too much to do and learn to worry about it. I had huge issues with fluid build up myself and once you wake up soaked in the middle of the night, it's all about just taking care of business. I hope things continue to go well for you guys...let us know if there is anything we can do...
