GINA bill- genetic discrimination

Just wanted to let you know that the GINA bill was signed by Bush last month.

It stands for Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act

    The only downside to the bill is that the protections don't take effect for 12-18 months:

    "The health insurance protections offered by GINA are expected to roll out 12 months after the bill is signed, whereas the employment protections will be fully realized in 18 months."

    Just like with everything else, again we have to wait. . . . .
