Prayers Pleeeeeeease!!!

I know I have been MIA for some time now but I know how powerful the prayers are from everyone here.  I just got an email from my friend who was my "Chemo Angel" when I was going through treatment.  We have become good friends and have kept in touch (5 years now).  She just found out that her significant other Dave has been diagnosed with AML (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia).  He'll be starting the induction chemo on Monday - this is pretty intense - hopefully it'll put him into remission.  Dave was such a strong support to Paula when she was going through her cancer.  He has always been the healthy one. They are both just numb from the news.  Please include Dave and Paula in your prayers.

Thank you . . . .

    Hi

I am scared and confused.  Going for an MRI guided biopsy because a second site was found in right breast.  Was scheduled for a lumpectomy of the first site with a SNR for today but after an MRI, when they found the second site 8mm, the cancelled the surgery and I am scheduled for a MRI guided biopsy.  Was told if second site is benign then they would go ahead with the original lumpectomy and SNR but if it is invasive they are recommending a mastectomy of the right breast.

I need your prayers..  I pray for all of you who are on this board.  You are such an inspiration.  I am so glad I found you all.

    Thank you

    Pattie

    Dear Pattie,

I just found your post and perhaps by now you have undergone your surgery. I will say a special prayer tonight for you, for your comfort and strength and well-being.

I hope you will return if you wish, and let us know how you are doing. There is much support which can be derived from bc.org discussion forum as you said.

    Holding you close in thought,
    Tender

    Dear Lois,

Friendships never cease to amaze me. You so clearly hold Dave and Paula so very close. I will say a prayer for safe passage for Dave through his induction chemo. All cancers cause great pain from their essence, not one more than the other.

I am glad to hear that you and Paula are doing well, five years out in treatment for breast cancer.

    Tender
