I saw this posted on another board, and thought I'd share.  Has anyone seen this?  It sounds promising (I know, all of these studies do), but what caught my attention is the fact that it acted favorably to women who's cancer hadn't spread to the lymph nodes, like mine.

Interesting article.   I noticed though you must not have pos nodes  ? 

I have a question to ask   Is there anyone here who has  been on  Herceptin  for more than 8 years now  and are NED?   I would like to ask you some quistions please   Am going to UCLA and need some information before going

No, I didn't have positive nodes.  And my margins were clean. As my tumors were that tiny, I was told I didn't qualify for chemo, rads, nor Herceptin. My first oncologist said, and the second one agreed, that I went after the cancer aggresively, and had done enough.  That was two years ago.  This vaccine does work on us early bc people, so I am particularly interested and excited about it, even though it is still in trial.  Trust me, I will push to get that shot if and when it becomes available!  Will be talking to my onc. in July about it.
