BUG ALERT--everything becomes a "favorite topic"

At first, I thought it was my imagination, but it's not.  Every topic where I've posted since yesterday has automatically appeared as a "favorite topic" on my Home page.  I thought maybe I was accidentally checking the little box that says, "Add to Favorite Topics" (or whatever it says), or maybe the box was checked by default and I wasn't un-checking it.

But, I've been watching carefully each time I've posted today.  The "Include Sig Line" box is checked by default; but the "Add to Favorite Topics" box is not checked.  Yet, every single topic to which I've posted this afternoon now appears on my "Favorite Topics" list as well as my "Recently posted" list.  Now I have to go through and delete all those topics I don't want on my "Favorites" list.

I think this is a real bug in the "Improved" format.  I don't recall this happening before the change-over.

Note added in edit:  One more thing--when I go to my "Favorite Topics" list and delete a topic, my screen does not stay on the "Favorite Topics" list.  It jumps back to the main page with the index of all the discussion board topics.  So, if I want to delete a whole bunch of topics that have somehow appeared on my Favorites list since yesterday, well, it's way more trouble than it needs to be.

I am with everyone else, I thought I was losing my mind when the topics I was posting on showed up in my favorite list. and when I take them off I go back to the last page I visited, does not stay on favorite topic page.
