I am just trying to get back into Masters swimming after a mastectomy 18 months ago. I used to swim competetively a long long time ago !

I am having problems finding a 'sporty' swimsuit similar to the old speedo / arena suits I used to wear.

I have had a look on Amoena and Eloise websites and seen a few but wondered whether there were any others suggestions.

Do you want a mastectomy suit?  Lands End has lots of them.

You might also try sewing a breastform pocket into a regular, higher necked Speedo.  That works.  Some women also use those bath scrubbies in their suits if they don't have silicone forms.  Try asking over on the Non-Recon board.  Those ladies may have lots of suggestions.

I had a mastectomy and now wear a Dolphin brand bathing suit, Ocean model.  It is 100 % polyester with a high neck and racing back. Since it isn't a mastectomy suit, I place my dense Amoena breast form under the bathing suit on my chest and it stays in place during swimming.  My light weight breast form doesn't work as it rides up my chest.  I didn't care for sewing a pocket into my old speedo; the breast form dragged the suit down.
