mccrimmon - sending good thoughts your way. I think you look beautiful and your eyes are amazing! I bet you will hear many times today that you look great!
Thanks mamav!
I also love follicularly blessed (spelling?).
-
Thank you ladies, I made it, I'm at work but no one else is!!! LOL.
Momine, I recognized where you were at right away. We went to Paris last year for our 10 year anniversary, Paris is breathtaking and surreal. 4 of us went and we all had such a fantastic time we have already booked our return trip this March.
You look fantastic, I would love to wear a hat like that even if I had hair.
-
Hey, McCrimmon, thanks and good luck today.
-
Michelle, I hope that's not the case, I didn't have much hair until I was nearly three! My hair definitely grows much faster in the summer so I think Florida might be the answer!
-
Momine and McCrimmon - we are planning to go to Paris and maybe London, too, at the end of May with our two daughters. It will be a celebration of my finishing treatment and my 31-year-old daughter's finishing her degree in Accounting. We need to get going on the planning phase...probably right after the holidays.
Auntienance - get that head some sunshine!!!
-
LuvRVing, Paris and London - that was last years trip. It was amazing. Have to admit all of us LOVED Paris more. London was amazing, the changing of the guards, Buckingham Palace... So many great places to see. But there was definitely something about Paris. Just walking along the Siene River, stopping for a fresh crepe. You'll love it!!! We are doing Paris and Rome this year as a finishing treatment celebration in March. Can't wait. And I'll have enough hair to feel comfortable and stylish.
-
Ok there are so many new post and pics, I can't remeber all the names. (chemo fog). You all look wonderful! Cant wait to see pics of the extensions, and I wanna go to Paris! lol
I am trying to talk my hubby into Hawaii though

So proud of each of us that has showed BC we aren't scared and we are brave. To the newbies you will have hair before you know it!
-
Mccrimmon - you look amazing! Good for you.
Momine - great hat. You look very stylish.
London and Paris. I love dreaming about travel. I have been to London and Paris once, 10+ years ago. Maybe again one day soon
-
Ok, so I decide this morning that I'm going topless to work. NO ONE is here today!! Its just me. The UPS guy is not the normal one and the FedEx guy, just left. I'm sure he noticed but didn't acknowledge at all. I supposed I should be happy about that.
-
Mccrimmon ???? What a letdown. If you were going to be brave and go to work wigless ... the least your colleagues can do is show up!! You are looking great so make sure you go out at lunch and show of your "do"
-
mccrimmon - that is just a little bit funny, don't you think? But now you have to get all anxious about it again! You can do it!
-
Yes, I think it's very funny! LOL
One of our foreman just came in. He complimented me and told me I was rockin the model look. LOL, I have to admit I don't think I've ever rocked anything. Ha ha.
-
Eyelash extensions sound great.
Kiwi...where were you for the last 3 years when mine kept dropping out every three month. FINALLY they have decided to stick around,Ha. How much is a procedure like that and how much is maintenance? Do you still put mascara on too?
Wanted to show you my wavy hair around my head since I cut my hair, but the picture is too small so it's hard to see.

-
mccrimmon, you are definitely rocking that look! Yeah for you!
-
Mccrimmon, I wish I had as much hair as you. You look great!
-
McCrimmon: stand proud! You look fabulous...seriously!
I keep my somewhat funky half inch hair head held high as should all of you!
:-) -
I took courage from you McCrimmon and ditched the wig at work today.
The feedback has been really positive, except for one lady who said "you've changed your hair". "it's different" (with a tone on the word "different", implying odd). Stupid cow, hasn't she ever heard the saying "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"
I feel quite liberated.

-
kiwimum I love it!!! So beautiful!
-
Kiwimum I want your earrings
Seriously you look so normal I have no idea why that woman at work didn't like your new "cut". I think you look great with short hair. -
You look hot, kiwimum! So glad you went for it!
Kathy -
Mccrimmon and kiwimum -- YOU GO GIRLS!!! You both look awesome - be proud!
-
And mccrimmon -- you totally have enough hair to go out ... So glad you did. You're eyes are beautiful and they really stand out with your short hair. I would never put a wig back on if I were you!
Kathy -
kiwi: you look beautiful! I wish my hair looked that thick.
-
Thanks for the nice words ladies.
I was planning on wearing the wig for the last time tomorrow to a friends wedding, but after today I definitely won't. I'm out now and intend to stay that way. 11 wks PFC -
1st the disclaimer..(chemo brain ms fog) can't remember all the names, but i think you ladies look wonderful!!! i've been watching american top model and "scouting" the 1st thing they do, is cut the girls hair short.. you're right in stye..!!!the top of mines sparse, but hope itll come back after the hypothyroid rightds itself. then, i won't care, long short, .. its' hair!!!(and allyou lovely gals have taught me that !!!)
