my eyelashes came in crooked and different colors. I used a tweezer on the ones that bothered me-ouch!
-
Slcst12: Scarves to match your outfits nice earrings, make-up, and as my husband would say put on SOME SMELL GOOD and you are good to go.
-
Yeah, some women can wear the super short hair and look great. Me? *shudder!* Hang in there ladies, one day soon you'll feel the wind in your hair again and it will feel WONDERFUL! I have to say, it truly feels like this:
-
Chan_go_foill have you checked out my second link in my signature?
Of course we all can't wait to feel like this
-
That was awesome!
-
i love muppets!!! That was so sweet Lago
-
HDANGELBABY: Hopefuly we will celebrate many moooore birthdays
-
Dominka,
YES!!! MANY MANY MORE!!!!!!
-
Lago - I love that muppets song - and it made me realize that I love my hair as well (and it looks just like the muppets hair)

I stopped wearing my wig on Sun. ha finally warm enough to go without it in Iowa lol. I swear my hair has really started to grow in the last 3 days and I think the wig was slowing it down. Anyway YEAH !!!! I will post a new pic soon.
-
IowaSue- I thought the same thing about the wig stunting my hair growth. I would be curious to find out if it does. It is getting hot here in Ohio too. Well, at least hot enough that I am sweating like crazy under the wig. I sure wish I could just be brave and go without. Maybe in a month or two.
-
Do you wear a wig liner? I found it to help with the hot wig... I still get super hot, but it is better than without the liner... and I went to St John for 10 days for vacation and decided while there I wouldn't wear the wig during the day cuz its just too hot, so I wore bandanas the whole week... and my hair for sure grew in that period and that was between my 3rd and 4th treatment.
-
I thought the same thing...more air more hair. It actually got warm enough for me to sit on the deck and get some sun. I t felt like if I watered and sunned my head it would grow like the spring flowers. LOL
-
I like the thought of that
-
I believe this too. The more I take the wig off the more my hair seems to flourish.
Cute Lago!
-
my hair is coming in longer on the sides and back, but hardly any growth on top and front!!
gosh, i hope i don't have male pattern baldness!!!!!
-
I'm going to second the idea that BC only happens to hot chicks. This is a surprisingly "hot" group! Go, girls.
First trim tomorrow. I'm so excited, I've already cried a little about it even though I'm not really sentimental. I can't believe what I've been through!
Have a beautiful weekend, everyone.
Don't worry about the hair growth--mine was thin and male-pattern for a long time. Now, I have a pretty lovely luxurious head of Annie curls.
-
Mine hair is filling in but it's still thinner on top/front than sides/back. Male pattern baldness of a 20 YO male right now?
-
Yipes - not a good trend. All of my tiny sprouts are back and sides too - I can't detect anything top and front despite obsessively checking twice a day with a 7X mirror. How pathetic.
-
carberry- great idea about watering and sunning out heads.
-
Same pattern for me... but I have about an inch plus sides and back and stubble top and front... with two more treatments... it better no fall out again.
-
4 1/2 months...its a coming
-
Sue,
Looking great! Thanks for posting. Is that your own color? Your brows look good too.
-
my hair was light prior to chemo, this is the color it is coming in. I normally have caterpillar brows do when the fell out they finally looked normal. They are coming in thick again. Here is a picture a year before chemo, my oldest daughters wedding.

My hair was light prior to chemo, it is coming in dark. I normally have caterpillar brows and dark when they fell out they finally looked normal. They are coming in thick again. Here is a picture a year before chemo, my oldest daughters wedding, all 3 of my girls.
-
Sue, you look beautiful before and after chemo. Your daughters are gorgeous.
-
Sue- very beautiful family.
-
Sue you look great your lucky no grey. Mine has a lot more grey than i think i knew i had after coloring it for so many years.
-
I am a natural blond and the hair I do have went from blond to white.. so I cut it to 1/8 inch and missed some spots that were a little longer and i actually changed color... How odd is that? I can see it growing out a different color but this hair was already on my head.
-
Thanks ladies, I dont see the same person in the before pic ,when look in the mirror I don't recognize myself between the hair, no hair and wigs plus the extra weight. Yes I'm glad its not grey. It really feeks like fur.
Sorry I didn't realize I posted it 2 xs. Have a great weekend ladies.
