    Wow, I tried the skin test for iodine deficiency, and I believe it worked. I have a thyroid problem, take synthroid, stiil don't feel great or think clearly.

    Tried it on my son as a "control". Mine disappeared in 45 minutes, his is still somewhat visible 12 hours later!!!

    I am brca2+ and considering a mast.  Are there any iodine users out there in this position? Would kind of like to see if my mammos change in 6 months b4 deciding. Any ideas?

    Are you folks using a dr. or just following the suggested protocol? Does insurance cover the iodine or practionor?

    I'm new....what skin test?  Is this on over-the-counter test or MD test?
