Heres my question once my ovaries are gone will I EVER experience another orgasm again???? Will I start loosing my hair? I'm afraid of how it will change me mentally, emotionally, and physically  Any words of encouragement out there?  Thanks once again.   Stacey

Have either of you gone over to the http://www.hystersisters.com  board?  There is a lot of good information there and answers to just about every question possible.  If you can't find the topic you want, create a thread.  All you have to do is create an account.  It's really a good site.

i had my ovaries removed bilataterlly one week ago.  I am feeling beeter good now  week out except for some ligerally fatgue/  I was already chemically menopausal on Zoladex injections for 1 1/2 years before having them removed.  I havent noticed a big diffrence in how I phyiscally feel, my mood swings seemed to have gone, hotflashes are still here but not as often.  I had no real issues with sex and yes you will experience another organsim again, except dryness which was helped by Replens and KYglen.

For the peace of mind the surgery is so worth it!

Hi Stacey, a few words of encouragement.  I had an oopherectomy and am on Arimidex, all in the past 1 1/2 years.  I enjoy great sex (a lot to do with my partner).  I do use Replens every few days or so, and also a lubricant which is no big deal.  I totally understand about how important this is.....

So, take it from an "old" sister girl, it's still good!
