Ten few teeth later

Hey everyone who has been following my dog saga. He lost 10 teeth! I felt so bad that we let it go that long!!!!! And the good part - it was way less $$$$ than I thought it would be considering it was 10 teeth! He's doing good today. He was soo cute yesterday - so outta it from the meds. I'm glad we took him in and took care of this. He's my first "baby"!

Glad to know that they could take care of it. Oh is this going to be one indulged furbaby and they are so easy to indulge----and Bichons are so talkative--I can imagine your next few days. He is going to be doing "poor me" to the hilt. Poor little one. Ya can't help but love them. LOL
Did they leave the Canine teeth? Will he be able to eat the same kind of food? How's the paw? Did they give you pain medicine for him. I always looked sideways when Vets would tell me that dogs don't feel pain the way humans do.
Thanks for the update. Hope he quickly bounces back!

Awww...poor baby. I hope he's up and back to normal soon!

He took one day of "poor me" and then found his bark again! As for food they said more than likely he'll still eat his hard food and he is. they said he's been eating it with pain so eating it without the pain will be easier. And yes they gave up pain meds but it was our choice. They did pump him full at the vet tho
I love how white his teeth are now! Thanks for all the kinds words. We're doing good. -
His teeth are white now? Did he get a partial plate? ;-)

On of my cats, may he RIP, had all of his teeth extracted. He stayed in the hospital for two nights. He came in the house and before I could get his soft food ready he was in the hard food. And he has just had all his teeth pulled and his gums looked horrible. In his case I think he was born with some kind of problem. Anyway, he ate soft and hard food and he couldn't bit us anymore.
He also had diabetes. He had cancer and I FINALLY had him put to sleep, but not before I tried to SAVE HIM! Okay, I'm gonna cry.
