    After recently passing in both the House and Senate, President Bush signed GINA (Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act) today:

    Unfortunately, we still need to wait for the protection.  According to the article linked above, "The law's provisions for insurers take effect in June 2009 and for employers in November 2009." 

    But still, it's FINALLY a step in the right direction.
