    Hey All,

      Was it my "chemo brain" or for real? Cool I thought I read about a California bike trip for survivors...but can't find it again.

    Hey EGAL,

    The ride is "for real".  You can get all the info for it at www.AmazonHeart.org   I will be attending next year but not this year as I am just starting my journey.   Had lumpectomy and SNB (neg node) this past Thursday and will starting Chemo next month, then radiation after that.  If you go, please take pics and report back to us.

    Hey Donna,

     Thanks for the info.  I am not going this year...I will have more surgery in August.  I am going to take a course at our local communtiy college to learn to ride a motorcycle next spring. I will plan on riding next year, too.  I look forward to meeting you  Smile

      My hubby and daughter are supporting my quest but I think secretly they think I have "lost it" Laughing  I am 53 and pretty conserative but I have riden on friend's bikes with them when I was in my teens and LOVED it.  This gives me something to look forward to!
