    Hi.  Has anyone had their period return after not having it for 6 years?  I had AC + Taxotere in 2002 when I was 43yrs old followed by 4 1/2 years of Tamoxifen.  Had spotting a year ago followed by a D & C.  After two weeks of feeling extremely premenstrual...I got a full blown period.  Just wondering if this is common...especially when you're almost 50yrs. old.

    Not common, but it can happen as you know. Sounds like your ovaries have a few more "last acts" to perform.



    May be good to call your oncologist and gynecologist and let them know.

    Because you have been on Tamoxifen, I agree with Tender.  You should call your gyn to let them know.  They may want to do a transvag us to rule out any potential problem.

    Thanks girls.  I had a vaginal ultrasound last week and waiting for the results.  I put a call into both the Gyn and Oncologist to rule out anything funky.  I've finally regained my life...not looking for any problems!
