    My understanding is that if you have no nipples, it is not illegal to go topless. But it's almost certainly a state law issue, so you'd need to check on the state you are in to be sure. (And even if it's universally okay, not every officer is going to know the exact law -- they can certainly ticket you and make you clear it up with the courts later, which is a pain in the arse.)

    Yeah, yeah, I'm a lawyer, so I can't possibly give a simple answer!

    Most of the illegality of women going topless seems to pertain to the (absolutely rediculous) idea that a woman's nipples and "underboob" are fundamentally different from that of a man's.

    So, no nipples or underboob no problem :-)

    That doesn't mean that police or other's wouldn't hassle you though. Most are ignorant as to how the laws pertaining to this are actually written, and police have wrongfully arrested women in New York before, where it is legal for women to go topless.

    What could bring more awareness to BC than flat women going topless. It would also give newly diagnosed women courage and confidence to move forward with the difficult decisions this disease forcesus to make.
