Planes, Trains and Automobiles - Steve Martin, John Candy   (9)

Be ready to laugh so hard you'll nearly pee your pants one minute to grabbing a hankie and wanting to bring one of them home for the holidays!  Great chemistry between the two.

White Chicks - The Waymon (Waylon?) Brothers.  8

Very funny movie - I avoided it for the longest time but one night it came on while I was reading something and it caught my interest.  I really laughed aloud at this one and recommend it.

TC - PTA's is my #1 favorite comedy movie - I can't count how many times I've seen it and laugh every time.  Great pairing of Candy and Martin

Blazing Saddles...I give it a 9.  Politically incorrect as all get out, but you can't help laughing.  I haven't seen it in years...probably more than a little dated.

Another good one, IMO--All of Me, with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin.  It's an 8...really clever premise.

2 of my favorites, both starring Madeline Kahn:

    Young Frankenstein (Gene Wilder)

    and

What's Up, Doc?  (Barbra Streisand & Ryan O'Neal)

    Anyone in sales can appreciate...

Tommy Boy - Chris Farley, David Spade

We've seen it on several occassions.  It's another one that captures your attention while channel surfing and just sticks!  I really miss Chris Farley.  He was great...as were John Candy, John Belushi, Phil Hartman...so many taken way too soon.

Haven't seen that one Gugg, but I'm adding it to our Netflix list.  Any excuse to laugh, is reason enough for me.  Laughing

    Sister Act - Whoopie Goldberg  - 8

I really liked the first one.  The sequel was not quite as funny.

    Best in Show

It's another one (like My Cousin Vinny) that I have to watch if I catch it while flipping through the channels.  Very funny.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is one of my all time faves, too! I give it a 10!

Office Space cracks me up every time I see it, too. Another 10, especially if you've ever worked in offices full of cubicles. LOL

The Mask with Jim Carey is another movie that makes me giggle! A 9.

This falls under CBM - help me find the name of it:

Stars Whoopie Goldberg who inadvertently gets involved with a spy.  There is a scene where she is in a phone booth making a call and it gets towed away with her in it......I'm thinking the name of the movie is Jumpin Jack Flash but that could be the song they played!

Anyone know the name....it's a very funny movie!

It's an oldie, but I love 9" To 5" with Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton. These woman are hysterical. I bought it and my 17 year old was amazed that these "old" ladies were smoking weed! I guess it's only her generation that's "cool!"

Regarding Office Space - my son bought me a red stapler for my birthday once, along with the DVD! Guess that shows how good that movie is!

I also love Airplane. No, I'm not joking, and don't call me Shirley!

For romantic comedies: Two fabulous ones are the Goodbye Girl with Richard Dreyfus and Forget Paris with Billy Crystal. Both Fabulous!

I agree with Office Space (a 10 in my book) and White Chicks!

I also love Raising Arizona with Nicholas Cage and Holly Hunter, and She's Having A Baby with Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth McGovern.

Oh yeah - So I Married An Axe Murderer with Mike Myers - a great movie that I almost didn't see because the ads for it looked so dumb.  One of my favorites!

Oh you have a bunch of good ones going. My all time fave movie is The Wedding Singer. A wonderful romantic comedy that's not your typical Adam Sandler movie. Soooo funny! Also love Drew Barrymore.

WOW how odd, was about to recommend two more movies in the same category and realized they both have Drew in them, so she must pick scripts well.

Never Been Kissed, so very cute, and

Music and Lyrics, hysterical. A must see if you're an 80's chick.

(don't love Hugh, but the movie is so good I could tolerate him). lol

Speaking of 80's, another fantastic one.....13 going on 30. LOVE IT!

If you remember watching Michael Jackson videos on MTV when he was still cool, another must see. I can't say any more and give it away. (Has nothing to do with music, just one fabulous scene).
