I cant even think of a Movie to start with right now
Must be why I am looking for a list from others
-
The Blues Brothers - John Belushi, Dan Akroid Rating (9)
If you're looking for great music and humor that is hard to beat, this is the movie for you!
-
Grumpy Old Men 8
-
Planes, Trains and Automobiles - Steve Martin, John Candy (9)
Be ready to laugh so hard you'll nearly pee your pants one minute to grabbing a hankie and wanting to bring one of them home for the holidays! Great chemistry between the two.
-
My Cousin Vinnie (10)...
LMAO and can't change the channel if channel surfing and find it...
-
White Chicks - The Waymon (Waylon?) Brothers. 8
Very funny movie - I avoided it for the longest time but one night it came on while I was reading something and it caught my interest. I really laughed aloud at this one and recommend it.
TC - PTA's is my #1 favorite comedy movie - I can't count how many times I've seen it and laugh every time. Great pairing of Candy and Martin
-
Blazing Saddles...I give it a 9. Politically incorrect as all get out, but you can't help laughing. I haven't seen it in years...probably more than a little dated.
Another good one, IMO--All of Me, with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin. It's an 8...really clever premise.
Lynn
-
2 of my favorites, both starring Madeline Kahn:
Young Frankenstein (Gene Wilder)
and
What's Up, Doc? (Barbra Streisand & Ryan O'Neal)
-
Anyone in sales can appreciate...
Tommy Boy - Chris Farley, David Spade
We've seen it on several occassions. It's another one that captures your attention while channel surfing and just sticks! I really miss Chris Farley. He was great...as were John Candy, John Belushi, Phil Hartman...so many taken way too soon.
-
Lost in America - Albert Brooks - 7
Not a side splitter but very funny
-
Haven't seen that one Gugg, but I'm adding it to our Netflix list. Any excuse to laugh, is reason enough for me.
Sister Act - Whoopie Goldberg - 8
I really liked the first one. The sequel was not quite as funny.
-
Best in Show
It's another one (like My Cousin Vinny) that I have to watch if I catch it while flipping through the channels. Very funny.
-
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is one of my all time faves, too! I give it a 10!
Office Space cracks me up every time I see it, too. Another 10, especially if you've ever worked in offices full of cubicles. LOL
The Mask with Jim Carey is another movie that makes me giggle! A 9.
-
This falls under CBM - help me find the name of it:
Stars Whoopie Goldberg who inadvertently gets involved with a spy. There is a scene where she is in a phone booth making a call and it gets towed away with her in it......I'm thinking the name of the movie is Jumpin Jack Flash but that could be the song they played!
Anyone know the name....it's a very funny movie!

Yes, Jumpin Jack Flash gug~
Love the White Chicks...""easy white chocolate I wouldn't want you to melt..""
LOL rate...9
What about Mary w/ Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz...rate 9
-
Thanks for the link Luv! What a great way to start the day! Yes, Guggerty that is Woopie at her finest. She's just great!
Loved What about Mary and The Mask too! Haven't seen Office Spaces...guess I've spent too much time in one. lol
The Jerk - Steve Martin (Kind of like Whoopie in reverse) 9
-
The Bird Cage....Nathan Lane and Robin Williams
I have watched it so many times. I laugh right before the funny scenes cause I know what's coming.
-
"What About Bob" with Bill Murray and Richard Dryfus...I laugh so hard everytime I watch that movie!! Really good stuff. I like Planes, Trains and Automobiles too. So, that may give you an idea of the humor.

"Airplane", the takeoff of Airport. (9) A lot of visual jokes, some crude humor, but, man, was it funny!!!
-
The Out of Towners - Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin
Funny Stuff

Ok guys I am a sucker for romantic comedies.........one of my all time favorites is "When Harry Met Sally" and of course on of the all time classic scenes.......and Rob Reiner's mom in real life with the last sentence in the scene www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-bsf2x-aeE ........Shokk
-
Another sappy love-story sucker here. So, keeping in tune, how about...
Arthur - Dudley Moore, Liza Minnelli (9)
-
It's an oldie, but I love 9" To 5" with Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton. These woman are hysterical. I bought it and my 17 year old was amazed that these "old" ladies were smoking weed! I guess it's only her generation that's "cool!"

Regarding Office Space - my son bought me a red stapler for my birthday once, along with the DVD! Guess that shows how good that movie is!
I also love Airplane. No, I'm not joking, and don't call me Shirley!
For romantic comedies: Two fabulous ones are the Goodbye Girl with Richard Dreyfus and Forget Paris with Billy Crystal. Both Fabulous!
-
What about Bob - classic LOL
The jerk...I STILL from this day say..."I'll I want is ...and..and..THATS ALL I WANT" LOL

Another *twisted comedy* w/ Jim Carey LOL - 9
-
National Lampoons vacation LOL 8 ...I luv chevy !
-
I agree with Office Space (a 10 in my book) and White Chicks!
I also love Raising Arizona with Nicholas Cage and Holly Hunter, and She's Having A Baby with Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth McGovern.
Oh yeah - So I Married An Axe Murderer with Mike Myers - a great movie that I almost didn't see because the ads for it looked so dumb. One of my favorites!
-
Oh you have a bunch of good ones going. My all time fave movie is The Wedding Singer. A wonderful romantic comedy that's not your typical Adam Sandler movie. Soooo funny! Also love Drew Barrymore.
WOW how odd, was about to recommend two more movies in the same category and realized they both have Drew in them, so she must pick scripts well.
Never Been Kissed, so very cute, and
Music and Lyrics, hysterical. A must see if you're an 80's chick.
(don't love Hugh, but the movie is so good I could tolerate him). lol
Speaking of 80's, another fantastic one.....13 going on 30. LOVE IT!
If you remember watching Michael Jackson videos on MTV when he was still cool, another must see. I can't say any more and give it away. (Has nothing to do with music, just one fabulous scene).
-
Fargo (don't cha know!)
Marsha
-
Luv - I was going to enter National Lampoon's Vacation - a real laugh out loud movie.
I do enter here Wayne's World - Mike Meyers and Dana Carvey - also some great lines that we still use!
