    The latest issue of Vegitarian Times and Cooks Illistrated has a article on Mandoline slicers.

    Both highly recomended the OXO V blade slicer.

    I bought one, and really like it. It even slices tomatoes if they are firm, and you slice thin.

    I'm a gaget junkie, and this one is on my list of *gotta have it*.

    I have a food processer that lives in the back of a cabinet, never used.

    The Mandoline is much easier to clean, and works very well on the veggies I have tried so far.
