    Hi EWB,

    Sorry to delay to respond to your question.  I don't look to the boards often I'm afraid.  This week in particular was busy.  Monday I had a cancer removed from my bladder....then caught my husband's flu.  I've had better days.Sealed

    My family and roots are mostly in the Philadelphia suburbs (my sons live in LA).  I moved to Italy 7 years ago to marry my husband (at the age of 52!).  It was the best decision of my life including the difficulty to learn a new language.  We visit US yearly.

    Did you see the post "Cancer and CAM"?  There are some good suggestions in there for questions to ask.  

    I wish you the best on your search.  In my opinion the energy work is effective.  My experience has been positive.

    Healing touch has been a real asset to my healing--I think it has really helped my recovery from bilateral mastecomies two weeks ago. Also accupuncture is the only thing I found that helped with the side effects from Femara....

    I have had healing touch in the past and intend on having sessions done throughout my chemotherapy that starts next week. I am confident it will be beneficial.

    I have been doing healing touch with a good friend who is certified, about weekly, and it's helped with everything.

    Springtime- I tried it 2 times now and nothing; I was not comfortable w/ people doing it so that might have something to do with it.  How has it helped you- w/stress, side effects healing spiritually or physically?
