Her 2 and tamoxifen

I just read on the alternative therapy thread something about a negative impact of tamoxifen on Her2 positive bc. Anybody know anything about that?

I had multiple tumors and actually 2 kinds of cancer, some tumours not Her2 positive, but at least one was, and that tumour was anatomically most similar to the cancer in my lymph nodes, so wouldn't that mean the cancer most likely to spread would be be the Her2+ so my question is...does hormone therapy work on Her2 positive tumours?    

I did the 52 week herceptin, so maybe that's enough?

I Scorpion, I am also her 2 positive and my oncologist told me that tamoxifen was not working really well on her-2 positive people and that femara would be a better choice for me. As femara is for post-menauposal women and because of the uncertainty of my menauposal status I am also getting Eligard shot (every 6 months) to suppress my ovaries and choose to take femara. So I went with my oncologist recommendation. I am also getting herceptin x 3wks till Jul (1 year total)
