    Hello Girls,

    I was wondering if anyone had to stop Herceptin for any other reason than low MUGA scores or it just stopped working.

    I hAVE ONE TREATMENT TO GO- NOT WHAT YOU WANTED TO HEAR- BUT I WANTED TO SAY THAT I CAME CLOSE TO STOPPING IT BECAUSE I WAS GETTING SO DEPRESSED WITH WORK AND TREATMENT.  IN THE END I STOPPED WORK FOR A WHILE.  Sorry I hit caps lock!!!

    Basically I get very tired from the treatment, sore nose, split fingers, tearful and anxious.  Can't pin it all down to the herceptin though.

    Di,

    why do you want to stop?  Talk to your onc. I was getting really tired from herceptin( I am almost done my year) they check my blood and my iron was low I got a shot and feel so much better.

    I am on my 10th cycle... it is going well.. I hope... glad to hear that others are tired,sore nose and anxious feeling... listen to your body, maybe we should have done that before?
