Hi there - I'm an 8 yr bc survivor!  I was diagnosed @ 35 with stage III infiltrating DC and no family history.  I did a 3-day walk last year in SD and loved it!  I'm looking at other cities, but wanted to know which cities have the most interesting walks.  I've looked for chat rooms or web sites w/ info but couldn't find any info.  I know there are women out there who have done all the walks (or at least some) and have an opinion on which were better than others.  If so, let me know.

Hi, I have walked in 3-Day events in Arizona (2004), Kansas City (2005) and San Diego (2007), and I crewed another 3-day in Arizona.

San Diego was beautiful - in fact, I am walking there again this year but as a survivor this time, and my husband will be joining for his first 3-day. Arizona is nice especially since it is now being held in November. I have heard from friends that have walked that Seattle and San Francisco are also wonderful. I have heard that Tampa is flat and that Twin Cities and Boston are also very nice.

My experience is that doing a walk in a city you are not a native to is wonderful. The walk will take you places that you won't go as a tourist. And the people involved in the walk are very special - including those at the cheering stations. I don't think you can make a wrong choice!
