hbcheryl, my old rate was $900 something/ year and my new one is $331/year .I got out my old insurance and emailed progressive (I hope I can say that) for a comparison. You can also go through a broker and they will find you the best rate. (my car is a 1996 Volvo, but I live in the city in Providence) If you've had the same ins for a long time, the old company doesnt bother to give you the best rate)
