The Next Person Game

I love Pearls before Swine and used to like Calvin and Hobbes until our local paper stopped running it.
I just realized, after 18 months of chronic coughing, that I am allergic to all nuts. I made that realization on my own, through some quiet thinking and examination of my everyday life. Too bad my doctor put me through an x-ray, CT scan, CT scan with contrast, asthma meds and anxiety, none of which brought about the ceasing of the cough. Since I stopped eating those "healthy" almonds and walnuts on my cereal I have noticed real improvement. Keeping my fingers crossed.....
If I were really really sick I would love to have Dr. House's team on my case. I just haven't seen that kind of commitment to a patient's wellbeing anywhere in all my experiences with medical personnel, not in my case nor in my husband's (he survived a week in hospital with a perforated ulcer, which was initially misdiagnosed as appendicitis despite the clear appendectomy scar on he sports).
Anyway, going on and on....
