true I hate being broke because of being sick...i got my line of credit while I was well and working. I have always hated borrowing money, but now I have decided it will be worth it.

So very true. I am complete my Bacholors in May and have been working on my master's online since I have been sick. I hope that by the time I complete it I will be well and able to start a complete new career.

Medical expenses have knocked the stuffing out of a lot of us......my deductible reset to 0 on Jan 1st and with the tests I've had to have done so far (with more to come) I'm going to be paying over $3K out of pocket before Feb is over with. But I'm not going to complain too much, at least we are able to meet these bills - for now anyway!

No, have not played pencil/paper game for a long time.
I am working hard to get this degree. With my chemical brain I missed a major deadline for one class, but the teacher has been kind enough to extend my time to complete the work. I now must do a reflection paper on leadership. I am not looking forward to it, but I must do what I must do. At least it keeps my 53 yo brain somewhat alert.

Yerba mate tea is all herbal with natural energizers of some sort--not ginseng or caffeine. It kind of tastes like bark but its grown on me. Rather than being exotic it is hippy-ish.
