    True: wonderful hubby, but he brought home a roasted chicken.

    The next person is plagued with hot flashes.

    Oh, how did you know??  Hehe, I amEmbarassed!  While going through chemo they were INCREDIBLY INTENSE (that was over 3 years ago).  When chemo finished the hot flashes ended.  Then last year they started up again...but pretty mildly and not for too long BUT just recently they started up again..and they are NOT fun. Had about 10 of them today.  Oh well...this too shall pass.....fast I hope.

    Growing up my grandma always put an apple and orange in it for us.  I don't my grandchildren, they always want things like batteries, new toothbrushes and toothpast, ink pens candy stuff like that.

    The next person will celebrate with a different culture this year one night ( we are going to a traditional hispanic Christmas program with tamales and cider and hot chocolate)  Christmas caroling with them even though I don't speak spanish.  Should be interesting.

    False - I'm so lucky that I haven't been consumed by depression or had to battle it - my poor sister takes meds and still wages war with it constantly.  My  heart goes out to all those who have to fight it on a daily basis.

    Spar - lucky you to be able top share in different C traditions....we used to do a Polish and an Italian CE dinner years ago when we had to make several stops...have fun.

    Hey MissS - can I have a cookie too?

    The next person is reading a wonderful book and wants to recommend it.

    False...haven't picked up a book in a long time...use to read every night, I'm hoping to start back soon.

    Next person has gotten all her Christmas shopping done and her presents wrapped and under the tree....I finally finished mine

    False, am still working on a quilt for grandson. Wrap?  That usually happens sometime on the 24th tee hee.  You would think after these many years I would get it together.  I am very organized in every other aspect of my life.

    am all finished with Christmas though, finished wrapping and getting the grandkids stockings stuffed.  MissS what kind of cookies?  I love cookies. 

    Someone will make homemade candy in your house today.

    False - I used to do that but gave it up when I got too busy working full time (and it didn't do good things to my waistline).

    False...BTW what is "super oatmeal"...I know what plain old oatmeal is because I have it sometimes for breakfast.

    No foreign language sung..that would be pretty. All I hear is foreign language spokenYell

    we had tuna salad for supper.  I think Faith's super oatmeal is where she puts in berries, nuts, and anything else that crosses her mind. Right Faith?

    Now that someone mentioned hot chocolate, am going to make me a cup right now

    Unsure..... we haven't made plans, and that probably means ipso-facto, we'll end up babysitting for the grands.

    yup, our super-oatmeal is our effort to down-size dinner periodically and we load it with all kinds of goodies...... tonight included the very best cherries i remember, plus great granola

    The next person needs to go thru drawers and closets and pare-down on some over-stuffed areas, to donate to others in need.

    TRUE!  There are a lot of happy homeless and needy people in Massachusetts, I donated hundreds of dollars of my Dad's cloths, as he is in senior assisted living and loving it.  But going into a studio apartment there was alot of down sizing to do

    Next person is craving chocolate popcorn.

    TRUE, nice warm fuzzy ones as it is cold in Massachusetts.  At work someone got a bucket of chocolate covered popcorn it was delish.

    false - will be going to my in-laws for Christmas Eve and I don't have to bring a thing. I have a wonderful MIL and FIL.
