! While going through chemo they were INCREDIBLY INTENSE (that was over 3 years ago). When chemo finished the hot flashes ended. Then last year they started up again...but pretty mildly and not for too long BUT just recently they started up again..and they are NOT fun. Had about 10 of them today. Oh well...this too shall pass.....fast I hope.

Growing up my grandma always put an apple and orange in it for us. I don't my grandchildren, they always want things like batteries, new toothbrushes and toothpast, ink pens candy stuff like that.
The next person will celebrate with a different culture this year one night ( we are going to a traditional hispanic Christmas program with tamales and cider and hot chocolate) Christmas caroling with them even though I don't speak spanish. Should be interesting.

False - I'm so lucky that I haven't been consumed by depression or had to battle it - my poor sister takes meds and still wages war with it constantly. My heart goes out to all those who have to fight it on a daily basis.
Spar - lucky you to be able top share in different C traditions....we used to do a Polish and an Italian CE dinner years ago when we had to make several stops...have fun.

False, am still working on a quilt for grandson. Wrap? That usually happens sometime on the 24th tee hee. You would think after these many years I would get it together. I am very organized in every other aspect of my life.

yup, our super-oatmeal is our effort to down-size dinner periodically and we load it with all kinds of goodies...... tonight included the very best cherries i remember, plus great granola

TRUE! There are a lot of happy homeless and needy people in Massachusetts, I donated hundreds of dollars of my Dad's cloths, as he is in senior assisted living and loving it. But going into a studio apartment there was alot of down sizing to do
