Hello Ladies, It has been a while ladies. And, I wanted to post a new thread here tonight letting all you ladies out there know, Yes, it does get better. It is a rough, long road, but, there is a time when it is better mentally and physically. I can remember when there was that time, I could not even walk. And, my Hair is growing long, and, yes curly. And, I am walking it seems miles. Remember this, to take one step at a time. One day at a time. I have definetly moved beyond my cancer and you will too.
Love,
Kaloni

Kaloni,
I don't check in much on the boards these days, but tonight I was surprised to see so much attention being paid to dramatic exits and presidential politics - but buried in the fray was this post from you.
Very well said, and a message that I think BC survivors are more interested in than the apparent drama that seems to be the magnet for attention!
I'm with you - moving on and finally feeling like I have made it to the other side.
Best wishes to you!

kaloni,
good for you!! I, too, am moving on and feel good about it. I hope you enjoy the next phase of your life. For me, everything seems in sharper focus now and more colorful, and i am enjoying everything in my life more. Good luck to you and to djd too. Great news!

Kaloni!! Thank God I found you again!!! I am sooo very sorry I lost touch with you. I didn't see the old thread but looked for your name and am so glad I found it. I just emailed Jackie the other day and got an answer back and she says she is going to check in too.
I got a new computer at Christmas and have been having some problems switching info from my old one. Boy what a pain in the neck it is!!
I hope you are doing well. The last I knew you had started a new job?! (that's if my memory is right LOL)
How is it going. Jackie says she just had surgery in Jan. and had an implant put in place and is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel finally.
Just wanted to let you know I think of you and the others often. Know my prayers are always with you guys.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Take care. Keepin' the faith...Dawn -
