    Hi there

Am new to this site posted a coule of messages today and got a reply about this area.

Had scan in January, then recalled for ultrasound and biopsy, saw consultant 2 weeks later who said it was invasive lobular 2.5cm Grade 2.

Lumpectomy and 2 nodes removed on Valentines day.

Got results this week, nodes clear and tissue margin also clear, Hurrah, now started amiridex and radiotherapy.

I have been positive throughout not been an emotional wreck, carried on working. Not even had a cry just got hysterical with anger why me, when i got results and started hammering the chair, but aftre that been fine.

The macmillan breast care nurses have been at all my consultations and been amazing, the A4 folder they gave me with all information about different things was a great source of info.

I cannot believe I had no pain from surgery only megga bruising, no problems with arm movements. Scar healed and life goes on. I am still very positive and live day to day. Not sure how radiotherapy will affect me though, hoping to work throughout but unsure at the moment.

I have been amazed at the speed, help and understanding of the NHS and cannot fault them.

Just thought I'd share my experience with others and wonder if anyone else had similar experiences. Also what to expect with radiotherapy and Amiridex long term

This site has definitely helped me to date, thanks
